Como ya sabemos, desgraciadamente desaparecido, Ramón era para el club y para esta prueba un colaborador excepcional, ya que lo mismo que entrenaba se ocupó muchos años del montaje y desarrollo de la prueba.Todos los que aquí seguimos, nos acordamos mucho de lo que hizo y ésta es la prueba de éllo: MEMORIAL RAMON GIL ZABALA.<\/p>\n

El Circuito Nochevieja comenzó a celebrarse en el año 1961 y por estas fechas aún no se celebraban ni en Bizkaia, ni en todo el estado, carrera el último día del año. Se celebró tres años seguidos hasta 1973 para no dejar de celebrarse hasta la edición actual.Las primeras ediciones se hacían por la zona de Zuazo y al no haber iluminación, el público iluminba el recorrido con antorchas. Más tarde, en el año 1973, comenzaría a lanzarse el circuito urbano por las calles del pueblo.<\/p>\n
