Aloñako mendikatean zehar altuera ertaineko mendi ibilbidea da, Aloña edo Gorgomendi gaina igoko dugularik (1238 m). Oñati herritik (230 m) Arantzazura bidean dagoen Urtiagaineko gainera abiatuko gara (490 m). Ibilbidearen lehen zati hau, zuhaitz artean egingo dugu eta uneoro helburua begibistan izango dugu. Maldak gogorragoak bihurtzen dira ibilbidearen zati honetan.<\/p>\n

Zuhaitz artean kilometro bat egin ondoren, zelai batera heltzen gara, bertatik Belar begibistan agertuko zaigu. Ibilbidearen zati hau, alturako larretan zehar egingo dugu. Belarretik aurrera (922 m), Aloña gainera (1238) eramango gaituen bide osoa izango dugu begi bistan. Aloñako gurutzera behin helduta, jaitsiera igoerarako erabilitako bide beretik egingo dugu, Urtiagain ingurura iritsi arte, bertan zuhaiztiak eta larreak nahasten dituen bidexka berri batean sartuko gara. Oñati herrira kale nagusi batetik iritsiko gara, bertatik hasiera puntura iritsiko gara txalo artean, Oñatiko plazara.<\/p>\n

Guztira 2200 metroko desnibela osatzen da 15,5 kilometrotan. Horrela, lasterketa hau Euskadiko gogorrenetako bat da, 8 kilometrotan 1000 metro igotzen direlarik.<\/p>\n
